How to Make a Cherry Rosé Slushie (AKA frozen rosé)
This recipe contains 3 ingredients: frozen fruit, ice and a bottle of rosé. I used frozen cherries, but you can use any fruit.
Some fruits taste better than others. I really loved the cherries, because they’re naturally sweet on their own.
Strawberries would also work well, but they tend to be a bit more tart. You can add simple syrup or fruit juice to make your drink sweeter.
You can also freeze the bottle of rosé and use fresh fruit. Personally, I find it easier to buy already frozen fruit then worry about a glass bottle breaking in my freezer.
Variations for Rosé Slushies
Keep in mind that different fruit will change the color of the drink.
- Peaches
- Watermelon
- Raspberries
- Pineapple
- Lemonade
- Melons
- Blackberries
You can also try mixing flavors for a fun combination. What about strawberry lemonade rosé? Yum!
What blender is best for making frozen drinks?
I fall more in love with my Ninja blender every time I use it. It just works so well.
I love that there aren’t a million pieces to clean or nooks and crannies where stuff can hide.
The blades are so sharp and crush ice in seconds without leaving giant pieces that you find at the bottom of your drink.
