Peach Moscow Mules
My friend told me about this drink, so I made my own version because it sounded amazing. So shout out to Caroline. <3
These blood orange Moscow Mules were my first version of this drink because I couldn’t find peach vodka at first. I think I like these even better.
Moscow Mule FAQ’s
What kind of alcohol is in a Moscow Mule?
Vodka is used in Moscow mules.
For these peach Moscow mules, we used Tito’s peach vodka, which I highly recommend. It’s smooth and delicious without being too sweet.
I’ve also seen Peach Schnapps used with vodka, so that’s a good alternative if you can’t find peach vodka.
Why are Moscow mules served in copper mugs?
Copper mugs are known for keeping drinks nice and cold. Apparently it started as part of a marketing plan to sell vodka!
We use our insulated tumblers for cocktails, but for this batch, I used my copper mugs. They worked great at keeping our drinks cold on a hot day. Plus, they’re gorgeous.
I can’t wait to make fall cocktails in them.
Is Ginger Beer Alcoholic?
No. Ginger beer can be found in the grocery store in the soda aisle. It’s similar to ginger ale, but it has a stronger ginger flavor.
And despite the name, ginger beer is actually gluten-free! As is vodka! A match made in heaven!
Can You Use Bottled Lime Juice Instead of Fresh Lime Juice?
If you don’t have any fresh limes on hand, you can use lime juice. I always have key lime juice on hand and I highly recommend it because it’s even more tart than normal lime juice.
